The School Nurse will be visiting the school to offer pupils a nasal flu spray vaccine on Friday 17th November 2023.

Children may wear Red, Green or White to school to celebrate.

We are also encouraging the children to work together with parents/carers to design a 'CROESO' - Welcome Poster. The winning poster from each class will be displayed on the classroom door!! 

Just a reminder of the Open Evening taking place at Idris Davies School this week on Thursday 5^th October

Between 3.30 and 6 pm for parents of pupils in Years 5 and 6. 

Please come along to tour the school, meet the staff and see what their area of learning has to offer. 

School tours will take place every 15 minutes between the above times.    

We will be holding our first Noson Lawen for a few years and are very excited about it from 4:30 onwards.

We will be celebrating the children's talents and achievements.

We will also be hearing about the progress made from our pupil voice groups.  

Tickets are available for this event from Miss Andrews and Mrs Rowland - £1:00 per child, £2:00 per adult. Children taking part do not require a ticket.

We look forward to seeing you all, the ticket includes free refreshments!!

We will also be holding a CAKE SALE and refreshments. The BOOK FAIR will also be open from 3:00pm.

HALF PRICE BOOKS

From April 17th 2023 there will be an increase of all school meals.

Universal Primary Free School Meal will continue for our Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 Children.

For pupils in Year 3 - Year 6 the cost of lunch will now be £2.30 daily.

Please note that ALL primary school children will be eligible from September for Universal Free School Meals.
