A very warm welcome to our class page, where myself and Miss Morgan will often work together to teach your wonderful children.

We are so excited for a fantastic, busy year of learning and growing together. Our potential is to make learning fun, safe and exciting for each child. Our mixed year 3 and 4 class will be encouraged to work collaboratively, listen to each other and share their ideas. We encourage them to try their best even when work is tricky. We will be there to support, question and help them explore and apply their skills and knowledge to new situations. Our Topic Map outlines what the children will be learning this term. We are fortunate in that our topic is based around our local area, therefore we would appreciate your support to complete homework tasks as well as listening to, or reading along side your child.   

          I have been teaching for almost 30 years and love helping children reach their potential. Alongside teaching I am a Senior Leader (SLT) and a Teacher Governor, helping to guide our wonderful school. I am responsible for leading Maths and Numeracy across the school. I speak Welsh fluently and love bringing our language and culture into daily school life. Music and staying active are big parts of my life, both inside and outside of school. This year, I will be taking Year 3 and 4 for recorder club, which will take place on a Tuesday at 3pm -3.45pm. I love playing the harp and frequently accompany our pupils on the piano during assemblies and in Music lessons. When I am not teaching you will usually find me swimming or modern sequence dancing.

I firmly believe that parents and teachers make the best team. So lets work together to help your child to fully flourish!
