Summer 2023
Expressive Arts ~ We experimented with watercolour paints to blend and shade our sea scenes. We added layers of shadow shapes and explored tools to print bubbles.
Our Young Promoters Experience ~ We have developed many skills and did a fantastic job of organising the show. We made posters to advertise, sold tickets, prepared and sold refreshments and were professional hosts on the evening.
World Turtle Day! We used a variety of plastic bottle tops and loose parts to work collaboratively to create our own turtle art.
Maths & Numeracy ~ Exploring concrete resources to solve problems.
Humanites ~ Identifying and locating the oceans and seas of the world using an atlas.
Literacy & Communication ~ We investigated the advantages and disadvantages of renewable and non-renewable energy for our Eco Schools area. As part of our action plan we have written persuasive letters to Miss King to share our findings.
